Text mesaging has its advantages and disadvantages as compared to cell phone calling,first of all texting is much more convienient in the fact that you can text multiple messages at a time where by communicating with all your friends simultaneously.
A disadvantage is that while texting your head is down and you are looking at a screen and letters you are typing this can be a huge problem if you are walking and trying to text,so the majority of the time you are texting you are most likely sitting or in a still position.
Another disadvantage is that most times when
texting a message you will be using both hands and also your fingers will sure be getting a work out.Another Disadvantage of Texting is you cannot drive while trying to text a message not sure if anyone would or has tried to text while driving if so they wouldn't last too long you know what I mean.
Another disavantage of texting is you can't truly be sure of who the person on the other end of the message is which
can lead to so many more difficult situations.Advantages of Using your Cell Phone you can walk while conversing,you can see in front of you and all around you while talking, you are only using one hand.
You also get to hear the persons voice so you know you are speaking to the person you want to which can make the conversation more personal.

The Disadvantage of Talking on you Cell Phone is the expense it costs for the minutes used so Most People that Use their Cell phone for business usually have a unlimited calling plan.
I havent found out yet but i will do more searching to know if texting is more popular and used more often than talking on your cell phone.
